Meghalaya: More houses untagged as containment

District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District, Isawanda Laloo on Saturday has lifted the Containment Order from various houses in Shillong after no new COVID-19 cases detected.

The order was issued based on the contact tracing status and testing of the high risk contacts.

The areas that have been unsealed are:

House of Neelam Gaur at Goenka Compound, Mawlonghat.

House of Nausib Rai at Lower Maxwelton Estate.

House of Smti D. Lyngdoh Nongpiur, Lawsohtun Block 6

House of Smt. Verlette Marbaniang, Bishnupur, Near Sunny Girls Hostel.

House of Smti B. L. Nongpiur, Madan Laban (Rum), Shillong.

The Top Floor of the Building of Smt. Mildalin Mawiong, Bishnupur, Old Kench’s Trace, Near Surbathiang. 

The entire J.B Textile Building, Police Bazar.

Compound of Shri. S.G Esmatur, Satbas Cottage at Nongrimmaw Block-B.

The quarter occupied by the Pharmacist, Smti D. Pakyntein within the compound of Laban State Dispensary.

In another order, the District Magistrate has declared the house of Solinda Challam and Amelia Rymbai at Qualapatty as micro-containment areas after the detection of positive COVID-19 cases. The order restrict unregulated entry and exit on the sites.
