Meghalaya Home Dept transferred SP East Jaintia Hills to Ri Bhoi District
The Meghalaya Home Department on Tuesday transferred and posted East Jaintia Hills District Superintendent of Police Jagpal Singh Dhanoa as Superintendent of Police, Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh while Giri Prasad M, IPS who is the current SP of Ri Bhoi District is transferred and posted as SP of East Jaintia Hills District.
The transfer and posting of Jagpal Singh Dhanoa from East Jaintia Hills District could either be a coincidence with the order passed by High Court of Meghalaya on Tuesday directing the Meghalaya Home Department to transfer Dhanoa immediately or it could be a compliance of the Meghalaya Home Department to the said High Court’s order.
Meanwhile, C.V.S Reddy, IPS who is Deputy Inspector General of Police (WR), Tura is transferred and posted as the Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID, Shillong against the existing vacancy.
Siddharth Kumar Ambedkar, IPS(RR:2014), Superintendent of Police, East Garo Hills District, Williamnagar is transferred and posted as the Commandant, 5th MLP Bn, Samanda vice Billy Graham Marak, MPS, transferred.
Stephen A. Rynjah, MPS, Superintendent of Police, Anti Infiltration Directorate, Tura is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, East Garo Hills District, Williamnagar vice Shri Siddharth Kumar Ambedkar, IPS, transferred.
Billy Graham Marak, MPS, Commandant, 5th MLP Bn, Samanda is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, Anti Infiltration Directorate, Tura vice Stephen A Rynjah, MPS, transferred.
Banraplang Jyrwa, MPS, Additional Superintendent of Police, East Jaintia Hills, Khliehriat is transferred and posted as the Deputy Commandant, 6th MLP Bn, Umran vice Baniateilang Diengngan, MPS, transferred.
Baniateilang Diengngan, MPS, Deputy Commandant, 6th MLP Bn, Umran is transferred and posted as the Additional Superintendent of Police, East Jaintia Hills, Khliehriat vice Banraplang Jyrwa, MPS, transferred.
Gilbert Amrstrong Lyngdoh Marshillong, MPS, Assistant Commandant, 3rd MLP Bn, Sahbsein is transferred and posted as the Assistant Commandant, 4th MLP Bn, Sohpian against the existing vacancy.
Nawab Thorem, MPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, CID, Shillong is transferred and posted as the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anti Infiltration Directorate, Shillong against the existing vacancy.
On the completion of Phase II training at SVP, NPA, Hyderabad, Naman Kumar, IPS(RR:2021) is posted as Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Raksamgre against the existing vacancy while Dewansh Pandey, IPS(RR:2021) is posted as Sub Divisional Police Officer(SDPO), Amlarem against the existing vacancy.
Further, Ishan Gupta, IPS (RR:2021) is posted as Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Dadenggre vice promotion of Pankaj Kumar Rasgania, IPS and Ashish, IPS(RR:2021) is posted as Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Sadar, Shillong vice promotion of Pawal Swapnil Vasantrao, IPS.
