    The Director of Health Service (Medical Institutions), Meghalaya on Monday declared that some head of account will not be sufficient for payment of salary till March 2023.

    In a letter to various subordinate officers, the Director of Health Service informed order to enable the Directorate to ascertain the shortfall for moving additional fund in time “it is necessary to kindly request the Treasury Office under your said District to kindly clear the salaries for the month of October under the object head 01. Salaries on or before 4th November 2022.”

    The letter read that they are requested to submit the month wise requirement of Salary from the month of November 2022 till March 2023, to the office of the undersigned on or before November 10.

    The Director warned any institution that could not provide the information in time, the delay in disbursing the salary will be the sole responsibility of the concerned. controlling Officer/DDO.

    Requirement may be forwarded in soft copy to email id [email protected]/ [email protected], the letter informed.

    The Director sent the letters to the District Medical & Health Officer, Shillong/Nongstoin/Nongpoh/ Mawkyrwat/ Jowai/ Khliehriat/ Williamnagar/Tura/ Baghmara/ Ampati/ Resubelpara. He also addressed the letter to the Surgeon Superintendent (Jt DHS), Civil Hospital,Shillong, Medical Superintendent (Jt.DHS) Ganesh Das Hospital, Shillong, Superintendent, R.P.Chest Hospital, Shillong and the Superintendent, Civil Hospital Jowai/ Tura.

    The letter was addressed to Additional Superintendent, i/c MIMHANS, Shillong, the Medical Superintendent, Nongpoh/Nongstoin/Williamnagar/ Baghmara/ Mairang/Khliehriat/Ampati. The Director sent the letter to the Medical Superintendent Women and Child Hospital, Tura/Jowai, Deputy Director of Health Services (Malaria) Shillong, State Tuberculosis Officer Shillong and the District Malaria Officer, Williamnagar/Tura/Jowai/Shillong/ Nongstoin besides the Jt. Director of Health Services (In the Division), Tura, the Executive Engineer, Health Engineering Wing Shillong Bill Section, Directorate of Health Services (MI).
