Meghalaya Guv not to attend Republic Day celebration

Governor Satya Pal Malik will not be participating in the Republic Day celebration at Polo Ground as he is still undergoing isolation after testing positive for COVID-19.

This was informed by the Commissioner & Secretary to the Governor, Pravin Bakshi on Monday.

He also informed that the “At Home” function scheduled on January 26, at the Raj Bhawan premises stands canceled for the same reason adding that the inconvenience caused is regretted.
