The state government has decided to lift the curfew in Shillong from May 4, following the recovery of almost all the COVID-19 patients.

Informing this after a review meeting on Saturday, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong told reporters that curfew in Shillong agglomeration will be lifted with effect from Monday.
He however said that based on the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA)’s advisory, night curfew will however continue.

The night curfew will start from 7pm to 7am.
