    The Meghalaya Government has appointed four retired IAS officers and other retired governments officers in various Council/Corporation/Board/Authority and Agencies under Planning, Investment Promotion and Sustainable Development Department.

    The retired Officials already re-employed and those to be engaged by the State Government shall be entitled to monthly emolument equal to the Last Pay Drawn minus Pension received as on the date of retirement and other perks as approved by the Department from time to time to enable them to discharge their official duties

    Prashant Naik (IAS Retired) is appointed as Senior Advisor for Sustainable Mobility under Meghalaya Integrated Transport Project (MITP) and will be re-employed approved till 25.05.2024

    Hector Marwein, (IAS, Retired) and former Additional Chief Secretary, Govt. of Meghalaya inducted as Chairman of Meghalaya Sustainable Development Council and will be re-employed till 18.02.2026.

    Ram Mohan Mishra (IAS, Retired) has been appointed as Executive Chairman of the Meghalaya State Investment Promotion Board and will remain re-employed till 30.06.2026

    P. Kharkongor (IAS, Retired) is appointed as Senior Advisor for Agro-Logistics under MITP and will remain re-employed till 30.06.2024.

    Meanwhile, Robert Lyngdoh, (Retired) Officer on Special Duty and Ex-Officio, Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Planning Department and Chief Administrative Officer, Meghalaya Age Limited is appointed as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Meghalaya Age Limited and will remain re-employed till 31.08.2025.

    Emdor Yeiman Chen (Retired) Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Finance (Economic Affairs) Department is appointed as Chief Administrative Officer in Meghalaya Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (MIDFC) Ltd and will remain re-employed till 17.01.2026.

    Bruce P. Marak, (Retired) Chief Engineer (PWD-National Highway) is Advisor under the MITP and will remain re-employed till 02.09.2025.

    Meghalaya Govt appointed four ex-MLAs as Co-chairman, vice/deputy chairman

    Meanwhile, Marcel Kharbani is re-employed as General Manager, Cluster Development Programme, Meghalaya Basin Manage- ment Agency (MBMA).

    Augustus S. Suting is re-employed as Deputy Project Director, MBMA & O.S.D. Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA).

    D. Lamar is re-employed as Advisor, MBMA while Aiban Swer is re-employed as Director Administration, MBDA

    The four officers will remain re-employed for 3 years from the date of reappointment through an order issued by the Agency/Board/ Authority.
