Meghalaya Governor to attend annual Shad Suk Mynsiem Festival

In a bid to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Meghalaya, the Seng Khasi Kmie Mawkhar Shillong, has invited the Governor of Meghalaya Phagu Chauhan to attend their annual thanksgiving dance, Shad Suk Mynsiem, scheduled to take place on 10^th April at Weiking Ground, Shillong,

The General Secretary of the organization, Hainess Marbaniang met with the Governor on Friday to personally hand over the invitation.

The event which promises to be a grand affair is an important part of Meghalaya’s cultural calendar and is eagerly awaited by locals and visitors alike. With the Governor’s attendance, the event is sure to be a memorable one for all who attend.

Simultaneously, Sri Sri Janardhan Das Ji Maharaj from International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Temple in Guwahati, also paid a visit to the Hon’ble Governor to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami.
