With profound sadness, Governor of Meghalaya, Phagu Chauhan extends his deepest condolences to the families and friends of two distinguished former IAS officers, Shri. SF Khongwir and Shri. DK Dkhar who passed away on October 14th and 15th, 2023, respectively.

Shri Dkhar and Shri Khongwir were exemplary public servants who dedicated their careers to the betterment of Meghalaya. Their unwavering commitment and contributions to the state’s progress in various fields are deeply valued.
