    The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District informed the coal owners in East Jaintia Hills District that in pursuance to para 15 of the procedure for transportation of extracted coal to designated depots for disposal by Coal India Limited through auction under the Hon’ble Supreme Court Order, the rates of freight for trucks for transportation of assessed coal from pithead/place of storage to designated depots viz. Pynthorsale, Kongong, Rymbai Road, 3 Kilo and Deinshynrum are hereby fixed as indicated against each as notified by the State Transport Authority. 

    For Heavy and Medium Goods Vehicles (Diesel) the Rate of Freight is Rs.9/- per MT per KM for Black Topped Road, for Graveled Road it has been fixed at Rs. 10/- per MT per KM and for Kutcha Road the Rate of Freight is Rs. 9/- per MT per KM.
