Meghalaya | EKH admin declared three more micro containment areas

The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District has declared three more micro containment areas after the detection of new COVID-19 cases.

This areas include the compound of Birma Jalan, C/o Ganesh Store, opposite Income Tax Quarter, Keating Road, area from gate 1 upto Boy’s Hostel, Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Mawdiangdiang and the compound of Mr. SG Estamur, Satbas Cottage at Nongrimmaw Block-B.

The order restrict unregulated entry and exit movement to the affected areas which requires contact tracing, testing and isolation to be effected in the interest of the health of the general public to prevent against any possible spread of COVID-19.

In another order, the district administration has lifted the containment order for the house of Gulam Mustafa (behind Rock Wood compound), M.G. Road Shillong and the compound of Swapan Deb and Smti Ruma Deb at Upper Jail Road (near Puja Mandap) with immediate effect.
