Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Home (Police) Prestone Tynsong on Friday said he has instructed the state police to track the leaders of Legal Rights Observatory (LRO).

Speaking to reporters, Tynsong said he had gone into the details of the incident that took place in Mahadev Khola and found that it had arisen out of small understanding and that it has got nothing to do religiously and it has got nothing to do with any particular religion.

“But I have seen in social media, the LRO has made lots of comments. Now, I have given instructions to the police department, track these people. Who are these people?” he said.

“I have seen their comments, which they have made so much. I personally feel that they (LRO) are not at all true residents of India. If they are, they cannot just give such an irresponsible statement which ultimately may lead to ethnic clashes which ultimately may lead to religious conflict which is so dangerous,” he said.

The deputy CM said that the police are already on the job to track down the leaders of the LRO.

It may be noted that the KSU had also filed an FIR against the LRO for indulging in hate mongering and spreading false information to the public.
