     All the high risk and low risk contacts of the 12th patient have been tested negative for COVID-19.

    Addressing media persons on Wednesday, Health Minister AL Hek said a total 33 persons who are in contact with the last patient, who broke her quarantine before tested positive, have been identified.

    Of this, 14 are high risk contacts and 19 low risk contacts. “All 33 have been tested negative for coronavirus,” Hek said.

    Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong informed that a total of 2539 samples were collected and sent for testing out of which 2526 were negative while test results awaited is nil.

    He said that with the 11th patient finally tested negative after the sixth results, the state now is having only one active case.

    Out of 13 positive cases including 1 death, 11 patients have fully recovered from the contagious disease, Tynsong announced.
