Meghalaya: Containment lifted in Mawlai Mawtawar

East Khasi Hills District Magistrate, Matsiewdor War Nongbri has lifted the containment order in Mawlai Mawtawar on Sunday.

The order for lifting the restrictions from Mawlai Mawtawar in view of non-detection of any new positive COVID-19 case.

“Based on contact tracing status and test reports of high risk contacts in Mawlai Mawtawar and in view of the reports received thereof, the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District has lifted the containment order for Mawlai Mawtawar with immediate effect,” the order said.
