Meghalaya CM reappointed as GoM Convener
Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma has been reappointed as convener of the Group of Ministers (GoM) on casinos, race courses and online gaming.
A notification with regards to the reconstituted GoM was issued by the Ministry of Finance Department of Revenue last month.
The members of the GoM include Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, West Bengal finance minister Chandrima Bhattacharya, Gujarat finance minister Kanubhai Patel, Goa minister for panchayat raj Mauvin Godinho, Tami Nadu finance minister Dr Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, Uttar Pradesh finance minister Suresh Kumar Khanna and Telangana finance minister Thanneeru Harish Rao.
