SHILLONG: On the occasion of the 47th Meghalaya Day celebration, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Monday launched the CM’s Whatsapp based Public Grievance Redress Mechanism (PGRM) to create an access and address the various greivances problems faced by public.

“The idea is to have a platform where people could at least express their concerns and grievances directly to the chief minister’s office,” Sangma said while speaking on the occasion.

He however said this is not a complete resolving system but it is an access to the CM’s office with the objective that a lot of problems are there at the grass-root level which is very easy to resolve are not resolve because the public is not able to reach the right authorities.

According to him, a dedicated team will send the information or complaints received to the concerned departments for necessary actions.
