    Secretary in-charge Animal Husbandry & Veterinary department C Manjunatha passed away at a city hospital on Tuesday.

    Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has expressed pain at the untimely demise of the Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer.

    “We are pained by the untimely passing of one of our officers, Shri C. Manjunathan, IFS. Manju was a quiet and efficient officer with exemplary commitment to every Department he handled and took on every task with a smile. I extend my deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. May he rest in peace,” Sangma said on x.com.
