Meghalaya CM announces Rs 4 lakh ex-gratia to next of kin of victims
Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma on Tuesday announced ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the next of kin of victims killed in the recent rain-related incidents across the state.
Sangma also expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the victims.
“Government is releasing an Ex Gratia amount of Rs 4 Lakhs each to the next of kin of those who lost their lives in the recent landslides & flash floods due to incessant rains across the State. Once again, I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families,” the chief minister tweeted.
