Two more COVID-19 patients have been tested negative, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma informed on Thursday.

He said that they will again be tested after 24 hours as per protocol to declare them as recovered.

“Two more positive cases who are being treated at Civil Hospital, Shillong, have tested negative today and they are in the process of recovery. They will have to be tested again after 24 hours as per protocol to declare them as recovered,” Sangma said in his twitter post.

Earlier yesterday, eight positive patients were also tested negative and their samples will again be collected for re-testing at the NEIGRIHMS today.

It may be mentioned here that Meghalaya has registered 11 active cases and one death due to coronavirus.
