    The Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MeECL) has decided to keep the recruitment process of Assistant Engineers (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) and Junior Engineers
    (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) in contractual basis in abeyance.

    According to an order issued on Thursday, the Written Test for the recruitment of Assistant Engineers (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) and Junior Engineers (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) in contractual basis in MeECL, scheduled to be held in Shillong and Tura on Saturday is hereby kept in abeyance until further orders.

    The order was issued with the approval of the Chairman-cum-Managing Director, MeECL.

    Notably, the NPP led Meghalaya Govt temporarily suspend declaration of results and conduct of all recruitment in the State of Meghalaya until further.

    The order was issued on 31/5/2023 vide letter NO. PER (AR)25/2022/Pt/22 by the Personnel and Admv. Reforms (B) Department.

    It was addressed to the Secretary, Meghalaya Public Service Commission, all Deputy Commissioners & Chairman District Selection Committee, Chairman/ Secretary, Central Recruitment Board and Chairman, Meghalaya Medical Recruitment

    The order read “All stages of recruitment in the State and declaration of results of recruitment to various posts are hereby kept in abeyance until further orders. This has the approval of the Competent Authority.”
