  • MBOSE notifies Iooksi, Baridua and Kyrdem as new SSLC Examination Centres

    The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) has notified three new centres for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination, subject to the approval of the Board.

    The centres are Iooksi Presbyterian Secondary School in Iooksi, West Jaintia Hills, Savio Higher Secondary School at 9th Mile Baridua in Ri-Bhoi District, and Kyrdem Presbyterian Secondary School in Kyrdem, also in Ri-Bhoi District.

    Students from institutions clubbed with these venues will now appear for the SSLC Examination at the respective centres. Both male and female candidates will be accommodated, and examinations will be conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of the Board.

    In West Jaintia Hills, the Iooksi Presbyterian Secondary School will serve as the centre for students from Iooksi Presbyterian Higher Secondary School, Sein Raij Rynkaw Secondary School in Khongshnong, Auxilium Secondary School in Saphai, Sacred Heart Secondary School in Saphai, and David and Lois Rees Memorial Secondary School in Iooksi.

    At Savio Higher Secondary School, 9th Mile Baridua, students from Nepali Sahayogi Secondary School in Khanapara, Suryodaya Secondary School in Mawsmai, New Era Secondary School in Mawsmai and Pillangkatta Secondary School in Pillangkatta will appear for the examinations.

    Kyrdem Presbyterian Secondary School will serve as the centre for students from Kyrdem Hati Proceeding Secondary School, Seng Khasi Secondary School in Mawbsein, Zion Academy Secondary School in Diengsohmaud, Klew Presbyterian Secondary School in Klew, Kings of Kings Higher Secondary School in Mawkyrdep, Mawkyrdep Evening Secondary School, and St Joseph’s Secondary School in Lummission Mawbsein.

    MBoSE has stated that any violation of rules and regulations in these centres may result in cancellation or revocation of permission. The order will come into effect from the SSLC Examination 2026.
