Mawsynram CHC closed after COVID-19 positive cases

The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District on Saturday closed down Community Health Centre (CHC) Mawsynram after one COVID-19 positive case and 19 risk contacts have been detected.

The order was issued by Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills based on report received from the Block Development Officer Mawsynram C&RD Block and the Medical & Health Officer incharge Mynsynram CHC that one COVID-19 positive case and 19 risk contacts have been detected in Community Health Centre (CHC) Mawsynram.

“The Community Health Centre (CHC) Mawsynram, will temporarily closed with effect from 3^rd to 5^th October, 2020 to facilitate contact tracing, sanitization and testing,” the order said
