    Lieutenant General Abhijit S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Spear Corps, conducted a high-level review of the Red Shield Division in Manipur, assessing its operational preparedness and technological advancements in counter-insurgency and security operations.

    During his visit, Lt Gen Pendharkar commended the division’s high state of readiness, praising the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies that have significantly boosted operational efficiency. He acknowledged the professionalism, dedication, and morale of the troops, reaffirming their crucial role in maintaining stability in Manipur and Upper Assam.

    The Red Shield Division has been instrumental in counter-insurgency operations, contributing to peace and stability in the volatile region. The GOC appreciated the unit’s strategic approach, operational synergy, and rapid adaptability to evolving security challenges.

    The visit also included high-level operational discussions, where the GOC deliberated with senior commanders on ways to further enhance operational capabilities. He emphasized technological integration in military operations, recognizing the role of AI-driven surveillance, intelligence gathering, and advanced combat techniques in modern warfare.
