Lincoln Dkhar conferred PhD in Chemistry

Lincoln Dkhar has been conferred upon the title of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry by North Eastern Hill University, Shillong Meghalaya for his Thesis: “Synthesis, characterization and biological activity evaluation of d⁶ metal complexes comprising ƞ5 and ƞ6 cyclic-π-perimeter hydrocarbons with nitrogen and sulphur donor ligands” under the guidance of Professor K. Mohan Rao.

Lincoln is the son of (L) Frando Sungoh and Delta Dkhar from Chilliangraij Jowai, West Jaintia Hills District.

Lincoln Dkhar completed his SSLC from Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Jowai while he did his HSSLC and Undergraduate from St. Edmund’s College, Shillong.

He is presently serving as Assistant Professor in the capacity of Head of Department of Chemistry in Thomas Jones Synod College Jowai.
