Law & order situation under control: Meghalaya CM

Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Thursday said the overall law and order situation in the state is very much under control.

Responding to a question on the recent arson case at Nongmensong, Sangma said sporadic incidents are there but those will be looked into.

“Apart from those incidents, the overall situation is very much under control. So there is nothing to worry about as such,” he said while assuring that the government will continue to monitor things to ensure that the situation remains under control.

On Wednesday morning, a government vehicle was set ablaze by miscreants while it was parked on the roadside in the Nongmensong area.
