Shillong Lajong scored a last minute equaliser through Daniel Goncalves to salvage a 1-1 draw against Rajasthan United in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Things did not go well for Lajong as they conceded early through Richardson Kwaku Denzell in the 9th minute of the game but Lajong did not hold back after conceding. They created several scoring opportunities and their persistence paid off in the additional minutes of the second half when Daniel Goncalves scored in the 97th minute of the game to help his side take home a crucial point.

The draw meant that Lajong unbeaten streak remained intact, along with Mohammedan Sporting they are the only side to remain unbeaten in the I-League and they occupy the fourth spot in the standings with 13 points from seven matches with three wins and four draws.

Lajong will now head back home to play against Churchill Brothers of Goa on Wednesday, 6th of December at 2pm in the SSA Stadium, Shillong.
