Laitumkhrah to get new market complex soon

SHILLONG: The construction of the new market complex at Laitumkhrah, Shillong will be started very soon, urban affairs minister Hamletson Dohling said on Tuesday. 

Talking to media persons here, Dohling said the process of floating tender has completed and allotment of the work will be done shortly. 

He said the old market complex at Laitumkhrah will be dismantled to pave way for the construction of the new market under Smart city project. 

According to him, the project cost is estimated at Rs 30 crore.
