Former Governor of Meghalaya, Tathagata Roy on Wednesday said that the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) should be banned just like the Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC).

“I say this taking full responsibility as ex-Governor of Meghalaya: KSU need to be banned just like HNLC. It is an anti-national terrorist organization, threatening Indian citizens, some of whom are residents of Meghalaya since British times. Like my family on both sides,” the former Governor tweeted.

Roy further claimed saying “After I relinquished charge as Governor of Meghalaya some Bengalis told me of their misery, of which the last incident was at Lawsohtung. I advised them that the only way was for all Indic religionist non-tribals – Bengalis, Gorkhas, Biharis, Sikhs to unite under RSS banner.”
