Kho Kho trials in West Jaintia Hills

The Meghalaya Kho Kho Association, in collaboration with the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Meghalaya, has announced a talent scouting programme for aspiring Kho Kho athletes ahead of the 39th National Games Meghalaya 2027.

The trials will take place in West Jaintia Hills district on 26 August 2025, starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Tpeppale Playground.

The initiative aims to identify promising athletes across the state and provide them the opportunity to represent Meghalaya at the National Games.

The association encourages all young players with speed, skill, and passion for Kho Kho to participate in the trials and showcase their abilities in what promises to be a competitive selection process.
