Kharshandi reviews functioning of schools in Garo Hills region

The Director School Education and Literacy, Meghalaya Shillong Banteilang J Kharshandi on Friday reviewed the status and functioning of the schools in Garo Hills region.

District School Education Officers of Garo Hills region attended the meeting held at Circuit House Tura.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills Nippon Hajong also attended the review meeting.

During the meeting, functioning of Class XI new streams, intake capacity of students in different schools of the district and other related matters were discussed including the infrastructure, vacant post and other issues faced in the region.
