    Moolamylliang Christmas Lights Extravaganza 2023 was inaugurated today at Moolamylliang Village, East Jaiñtia Hills District by Dr W. R Kharlukhi, Rajya Sabha MP, Meghalaya in the presence of Sutnga-Saipung legislator Santa Mary Shylla, the Director of Information and Public Relations Malthus Sangma amongst a host of other dignitaries.

    Starting this evening string lights along with other decorative lightings which will be illuminated every evening from 5:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight till 3rd January, 2024 are set to attract tourists from across the Northeast and mainland India to Moolamylliang to ge a first hand experiences of its cleanliness and the Christmas Decorations to which the village is renowned for.

    Moreover to attract the music lovers, a Christmas Concert will also be organized on the evening of December 22 December where a reknowned band “Taken Aback” from Mawngap, East Khasi Hills District and “The Lynx” from Jowai, West Jaiñtia Hills District will enthrall the crowd. 

    While on the 23rd December a Music Night will be organised featuring Eladmitre Dkhar and DJ Wanshan.
