The JSU strongly condemn the barbaric act of Indian security force and as per the suo moto FIR filed by Nagaland police against by the blood thirsty men of the Indian Army are on a failing mission spree because the army didn’t bother to inform  the state police nor did they seek any  police guide for such an operation in the area which is required to be vigilant.

The JSU was reacting to the inhumane atrocity committed by the Indian armed and security forces the  watchful counter insurgency operation that let to the death of 14 Naga people on 4th December 2021 in   Mon District of Nagaland.

Indian armed and security forces can never refuse to accept and they must take full responsibility with the killings of innocent lives where the security forces opened fire on a truck on the Tiru- Oting road of the Mon town in Nagaland. Such act of killings are highly deserving severe rebuke. The killing of innocent lives could not be justify at a time when the “Tndo-Naga peace” is still under process and such barbaric act of killing innocent people is totally against humanity. Such heinous acts should be brought to justice and conformity with law and it’s high time for GOI to repeal AFSPA from tribal states so that peace may prevail.

Jaintia Students’ Union would like to express a  deepest condolences to the families of those innocent Nagas who lost their lives in mindless act of Indian forces in Nagaland.
