John Kharshiing appointed as MCCL’s vice chairman

In another series of political appointees, the Meghalaya Govt has accommodated five politicians as vice chairmen of the ailing Mawmluh Cherra Cement Company (MCCL).

The Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to appoint Robert S. Sangma, Dabo M. Marak, Besterfield N. Sangma, John Kharshiing and Habibuz Zaman as Vice Chairman of Mawmluh Cherra Cements Limited (MCCL).

They are entitled to Category “B” with perks and facilities regulated as per Finance (AF) Department’s O.M.No.FEM.44/ 2003/Pt.11/157 dated 17th September, 2010 with effect from the date of joining of the incumbent.
