Jerry to take over as IGP Prison while four districts gets new SP

In a major reshuffling in the Meghalaya Police Force, Superintendent of Police of four districts and Commandant of two Police Battalions were transfered by the Meghalaya Home (Police) Department on Tuesday.

Dr. Sacheng R. Marak, MPS, Assistant Inspector General of Police (Estt), Meghalaya, Shillong is transferred and posted as the Assistant Inspector General of Police(Admn), Meghalaya, Shillong vice Shri Gabriel K. Iangrai, MPS transferred.

Bruno A. Sangma, MPS, Superintendent of Police, East Garo Hills, Williamnagar is transferred and posted as the Commandant, 2nd MLP Bn, Goeragre, West Garo Hills, Tura vice Shri Stephen A. Rynjah, MPS transferred.

Jerry F.K Marak, IPS(SPS 2011), Commandant, SF-10, Meghalaya, Shillong are placed at the disposal of Personnel & AR(A) Department for posting as the Inspector General (Prisons), Meghalaya, Shillong with effect from the date of voluntarily retirement of M. Kharkrang, IPS(SPS 2009) on 1st September, next.

Rituraj Ravi, IPS(RR 2013), Superintendent of Police, South Garo Hills, Baghmara is transferred and posted as the Director, SCRB, Meghalaya, Shillong against the existing vacancy.

Siddharth Kumar Ambedkar, IPS(RR 2014), Superintendent of Police, South West Garo Hills, Ampati is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, South Garo Hills, Baghmara vice Shri Rituraj Ravi, IPS transferred.

Shailendra Bamaniya, IPS(RR 2016), Superintendent of Police, Traffic, Shillong is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, North Garo Hills, Resubelpara vice Shri Abraham T. Sangma, MPS transferred.

Abraham T Sangma, MPS, Superintendent of Police, North Garo Hills, Resubelpara is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, East Garo Hills, Williamnagar vice Shri Bruno A Sangma, MPS transferred.
