Invitation open for participation in Subroto Mukherjee Cup

The District Sports Office West Jaintia Hills District, Jowai will organise the District Level Inter School Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament 2023 for Under-14 years Boys and Under-17 years for both Boys and Girls during the 3rd week of June onwards.

The football match will be held at Kiang Nangbah Stadium and Kiang Nangbah Govt. College Playground.

All schools within West Jaintia Hills District are encouraged to participate in the tournament.

The cut-off years of the Players are appended below:

Under – 14 Years (Boys) – should be born on or after 01 January 2010.

 Under – 17 Years (Boys) – should be born on or after 01 January 2007.

 Under – 17 Years (Girls) – should be born on or after 01 January 2007.

Entry forms can be obtained from the office of the undersigned during office hours.

Schools are requested to submit the List of Players along with their recent passport size photographs and their xerox copy birth certificate issued by the Municipal Board/CHC/PHC/ AadhaarCard to the office of District Sports Officer, West Jaintia Hills Jowai on or before  5th June 2023 during office hours. No Entry form will be accepted after the 5th June 2023.

The screening will be held on 7th June 2023 from 9 am onwards at  Kiang Nangbah Indoor Stadium, Jowai. 25 Players for each category will be allowed for screening.

Each player has to carry an original birth certificate on the screening day.
