Indus Towers and NEAID deliver urgent flood relief to stricken Northeast

In response to the severe floods that have battered parts of Northeast India, Indus Towers has partnered with the Northeast Centre for Equity Action on Integrated Development (NEAID) to provide critical aid to affected communities in Assam, Manipur, and Tripura.
Under its CSR program Pragati, Indus Towers distributed 1,030 dry ration kits to families in hard-hit areas such as Cachar (Assam), Imphal (Manipur), and remote regions of Tripura. Employees from Indus were on the ground, actively supporting the relief effort and helping ensure the timely delivery of essential supplies.
“We are committed to helping families through this crisis with direct and meaningful support,” said Rajender Singh Gurung, Circle CEO at Indus Towers. “Our teams have stepped up not just with resources, but with their time and effort, making a difference where it’s needed most.”
Meraj Ahmed, Co-Founder of NEAID, highlighted the urgency of the situation: “Thousands have lost access to basic necessities. With Indus Towers’ support, we’re reaching the most vulnerable and helping them recover—not just for today, but for the long term.”

This joint initiative reflects Indus Towers’ broader mission to support disaster relief, strengthen community resilience, and promote sustainable recovery in India’s most at-risk areas.
