Indo-Bangla Trade along West Jaintia Hills suspended

In view of the protest by the Headmen and NGOs against the operation of Border Trade with Bangladesh, the District Administration, West Jaintia hills has fixed a meeting with all stakeholders on 6.8.2020 at Amlarem.

Further, with a view to resolve the matter which may result to law and order problem, the District Magistrate has informed that the Office Order No.GEN.253/COVID 19/2020/Pt.II/267, Dt. 6.7.2020 is temporarily withdrawn with immediate effect and until further orders.
