Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) has announced that the India Industrial Fair (IIF) 2025 will be held from October 30 to November 2 at the Veterinary College Ground, Khanapara, in Guwahati. The event follows the success of IIF 2022, which attracted over 400 MSMEs, entrepreneurs, and investors from across the country.

With more than 55,000 members across 695 districts and 850 in the Northeast, LUB has been a key driver of entrepreneurship and industrial growth nationwide. Under the chief patronage of the Assam Chief Minister and the patronage of the state’s Industry Minister, IIF 2025 is expected to be the largest industrial fair ever held in the Northeast. Organisers anticipate over 50,000 visitors, including senior cabinet ministers, policymakers, and international delegates.

The fair will feature more than 500 stalls spanning sectors such as artificial intelligence, drones, electric vehicles, defence, renewable energy, handloom and handicrafts, tourism, and start-ups. Highlights include B2B and B2G interactions, investor summits, technology transfer sessions with IIT Guwahati, export promotion workshops, and policy dialogues on industrial reforms.

IIF 2025 aims to catalyze business growth while opening new opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs. The programme will include expert-led sessions on business planning, financing, and market access, along with dedicated platforms for women entrepreneurs, start-ups, and artisans. Sustainability will also be a focus, with discussions on waste-to-wealth, renewable energy, and green practices.

Earlier this year, LUB partnered as the MSME representative at Advantage Assam 2.0, reaffirming its commitment to regional industrial transformation. Calling for participation from entrepreneurs and Northeastern state governments, LUB Purvottar leaders Ashish Deorah, Manoj Lundia, Partha Pratim Pathak, Pramod Mour, Ravi Sureka, and other executive members said IIF 2025 would serve as a platform to showcase ODOP initiatives and shape the future of industry in Assam and the Northeast.
