Illegal sim card racket busted

KHLIEHRIAT: Acting on inputs that some shops were selling illegal/black SIM cards at Jalaphet-Pyrdung, Bri Sutnga East Jaintia Hills, Police conducted a raid in the area.

Police said that they recovered fifty-four illegal SIM cards from the shop of one Mohidul Islam and ten illegal SIM cards from the shop of one Dilwar Hussain.

Further, it was found that the two shops were operating without Trading License from JHADC.
