IIM Shillong concluded the 3rd Edition of its Artist Residency Programme on August 29, bringing together 10 emerging artists from across India for 12 days of immersive creative engagement.

Mentored by Master Artist Sujay Mukherjee, the participants worked on linocut printmaking under the theme “Beyond the Arborescent – Forging Perpetual Connections.” The residency culminated with an Open Studio Exhibition showcasing the artists’ works alongside contributions from the IIM Shillong community.

The closing ceremony featured Ms. Ambica Beri, Founder of Gallery Sanskriti and Art Ichol, and Mr. Rakesh Sahni, arts practitioner and mentor, who shared insights on sustaining art practices and cultural leadership.

Prof. Naliniprava Tripathy, Director (I/c), said the initiative reflects IIM Shillong’s vision of integrating art with management education and nurturing leaders with creativity, empathy, and innovation.
