IconSWMCE 2023 acknowledges Moolamylliang for green innovation

The International Conference on Sustainable Waste Management and Circular Economy (IconSWMCE) has conferred the IconSWM-CE Excellence Award 2023 to Moolamylliang village, East Jaintia Hills district for community participation for the cleanest village dedicated to sustainable development.

The award was conferred at the 13th International Conference on Sustainable Waste Management and Circular Economy (IconSWMCE) and IPLA Global Forum 2023, held on Wednesday in Mumbai.

Apmon Pachiang Waheh Shnong Moolamylliang, was honoured with the award by the chief guest, Bart de Jong, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in the presence of Prof. Sadhan Kumar Ghosh, founder and president of the International Society of Waste Management, Air, and Water (ISWMAW).
