    The Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Meghalaya State Branch on Saturday donated 20 pulse oximeters to the health department for use in the community corona care centres in Shillong.

    These pulse oximeters were handed over to Health and Family Welfare Minister AL Hek by the president Dr Hunsi Giri.

    Dr Hunsi Giri also assured the minister that Indian academy of Pediatrics, Meghalaya State Branch will always stand with the government and the community in this time of crisis.

     At this time, members of the organization have volunteered to provide speciality consultation to the inmates of 52 child care institutions all over the state.
