Hotels allowed to open

The District Magistrate, West Jaintia Hills has issued an order allowing Hotels in West Jaintia Hills District  to re- open from July 1, 2020 subject to permission to be obtained from the office of  the Deputy Commissioner and all are to strictly adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure issued by the Tourism Department, Government of Meghalaya.

Failure to  compliance to the SOP will result to immediate closure of the Hotels.

In addition, the District Magistrate has instructed all  to strictly Wear Face Masks, Maintain Social Distancing of 6 feet, Follow Cough etiquette and regular washing of hands with Soap and Water and not to spit in Public Places.
