Holiday on account of Phan Nonglait Death Anniversary

The Eastern West Khasi Hills District Administration has declared 6th December,next as holiday in the district on account of death anniversary of legendary lady freedom fighter Phan Nonglait.

According to official order, state government Offices, Revenue Magisterial Courts and all Educational Institutions located within Eastern West Khasi Hills District will remain closed on the said date.

However the order did not declare holiday for the banks and other financial institutions in the district.
