    The Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hills in a press release issued on Monday informs the general information of the public that on 13th March, 2021 one unknown female infant baby (in a decomposed stage) was found at the campus of the District Home Guard Commandant Office, Dongmihsngi Jowai. After observing all the formalities, the same has been shifted to Ialong Civil Hospital for conducting Post Mortem Examination and the body was later kept at Morgue room for identification.

    In this connection, a case has been registered at Jowai Police Station vide Jowai PS Case No. 28(3)2021 u/s 318 IPC and an investigation has been initiated into the matter.

    • Unknown Female Infant (Newly born)

    Therefore, it is requested all fellow citizens to contact the following phone numbers in the event of identifying the deceased or having knowledge about the culprits and the name of informant (s) will be kept confidential.
