Hek to abide by party’s decision on cabinet berth issue

BJP leader and cabinet minister AL Hek on Tuesday said he would abide by the party’s decision in regards to the issue of sharing the cabinet berth among the party MLAs.

“That (question) you can ask from the BJP state president not from me. I will not be able to tell you anything regarding this as it is purely whatever party decides. I will obey the party’s decision,” Hek told reporters.

During the last term, the cabinet berth was shared between the AL Hek and South Shillong legislator Sanbor Shullai.
