Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Amlarem Civil Sub-Division, Anendya Raajsshre, on March 5 imposed Section 163 BNSS, restricting the movement of all heavy vehicles on Bridge No. 1/1 over the Amphubon River.

The order was issued after receiving a report from the Assistant Executive Engineer, PWD (Roads), Border Road Sub-Division, Amlarem, stating that the bridge can no longer sustain heavy vehicle loads and is safe only for vehicles up to 9 metric tons (MT).

The bridge serves as a crucial link for border villages to Dawki and Amlarem, and the movement of heavy vehicles poses a risk of structural damage. To prevent long-term closure and public inconvenience, the restrictions have been enforced with immediate effect.

As per the order, all heavy vehicles plying through Bridge No. 1/1 located at Amphubon River in the 1st Km of Muktapur–Borghat Road are restricted to a maximum loading capacity of 9 metric tons.

The order came into immediate effect and will remain in force until further notice.
