Heavy loaded vehicle banned on Demseiniong’s Macade road
The East Khasi Hills District administration has prohibited heavy loaded vehicles, including Night Super, from plying on Demseiniong Locality’s Macabe Road.
The order, issued by District Magistrate RM Kurbah, aims to prevent damage to the road and ensure public safety.
It warned that violators will face legal action.
According to the order, the road’s narrow width and classification as an Urban Bituminous Road make it unsuitable for heavy vehicles, posing a risk to pedestrians, emergency services, and local traffic.
