Health & Family Welfare Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh on Monday visited the victims of the blast at Keating Road.

Three permanent residents of Barpeta Assam were injured with approximately ten to forty percent burns, Lyngdoh said.

Of the injured, one patient with slightly higher burn wounds was referred to Guwahati yesterday and 2 others will be referred to Barpeta later today, she said.

“The 2 patients in Civil Hospital in Shillong are in stable condition and fit to be transported to a higher facility and home town of the injured,” she added.
