Govt to take final decision for enhancing the adhoc grant: Tynsong

Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong on Wednesday informed that the government is in the process of enhancing the salary of the adhoc teachers in the state.

“I would like to tell you that the preparation for enhancement of the adhoc grant is almost in the final stage,” Tynsong said.

His statement came in the wake of the decision of the FASTOM to organize a massive rally on Thursday.

Urging the teachers to have patience, he said, “Let us wait till the final decision is taken.”

Tynsong asserted that it is important for people to understand that “we need to have a detailed discussion not only with the education department alone but the finance and the planning departments also have to be in line with this particular issue of enhancing the adhoc grant.”
