    The Meghalaya Govt will conduct a month long survey for the identification of street vendors in Shillong the capital city of Meghalaya.

    In a notification issued vide No. UAU.71/2023/37 dated Shillong the 1st November, 2023, the survey will carry out in pursuance of Section 4 of “The Meghalaya Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Scheme, 2023”.

    The localities where the survey will be conducted are Khyndailad, Laitumkhrah, and Polo.

    The survey will start from Saturday of this week and culminate on 18 December 2023. It will be conducted on three different timing viz., 7am-10am, 11 am-5 pm and 7 pm onwards.

    The Facilitation Center will be set up in Office of Shillong Municipal Board, Bishop Cotton Road, Shillong-793001.
